Brenda Lopez is a Senior Associate Attorney at Antonyan Miranda, who has represented family law clients in a variety of cases in San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and Imperial Counties. Ms. Lopez has successfully litigated a plethora of complex family law cases, touching upon both economic and non-economic issues.
Ms. Lopez, who is bilingual English-Spanish, earned her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Chicana/o Studies from San Diego State University, where she was a member of the Psychology Honor Society, Psi Chi. Ms. Lopez’s cultural, educational, and legal background, paired with her strong work ethic, have allowed her to achieve many favorable results on behalf of her clients.
As a law student at Thomas Jefferson School of Law Ms. Lopez was placed on the Distinguished Honor Roll and also became a Certified Legal Intern, which permitted her to appear at several court proceedings concurrent with her studies, gaining invaluable litigation experience.
Ms. Lopez attended law school part-time, while working full-time as a legal assistant for several civil litigation and Certified Family Law Specialist attorneys in San Diego. Between her internships and practical legal training, Ms. Lopez opened her own law practice upon being admitted to the State Bar, and also did pro bono legal work for the Volunteer Lawyer Program’s domestic violence clinic.
